Georgian Bay Georgian Bay is a large bay of Lake Huron located in central Ontario. The bay is 320 km (199 mi) long and 80 km (50 mi) wide and is a popular spot for anglers and boaters. Nottawasaga River Fed by headwaters near Orangeville, Ontario, the Nottawasaga River flows into the south end of Georgian Bay, itself a large part of the greater Lake Huron, at Wasaga Beach Provincial Park. This meandering river provides a 75 km canoe route, with a few portages and rapids (depending on water levels).
